Did you hear? Starbucks is closing down many a store..
And several of them are MY Starbucks!

Breathe…breathe….The one on Danforth... the one by Santa Fe on 15th... THE ONE ON PENN BY THE MALL!!!! Hello? That one is always packed! These places are more to me than just a delightful beverage, they hold the memories of many hours of coffee-bonding with my friends and kids!

What is going on here? The Apocalypse? Is this some kind of a joke? Will somebody. please. wake me up. from this nightmare.
I’m off to check my blood pressure and read Revelations.

What you should consider doing is purchasing a 5 lb. bag of beans and make your own coffee. The hubby and I have it down.
I'll make you some when you come over in August.
Oh, I buy the beans and make the coffee, trust me. It's not just about the coffee, sniff,sniff.
Deleise. I know. I know exactly what you are feeling. I have had every possible emotion at any given Starbucks. I have favorite places to sit in each one. I just dont understand.
Sigh.

Seriously, I too am saddened by this recent turn of events. I knew some locations were closing, but never checked it out due to fear one might be a location near me. Guess it's time for me to face the facts. I think I'll be all right though... I'm more of a drive-through girl.

Our Starbucks are reportedly safe, but I had several moments of agonizing fear when I heard that so many Starbucks were being closed. I'm so sorry that yours are among the victims.

I am so sorry for your loss. They just keep opening up in my town. I wish I could box one up and send it to you. I quit going to them when they quit serving those wonderful breakfast sandwiches.

What? No one blamed this on President Bush? That's a new one...
How could they do this to you? Who would've believed this could happen right here in the heartland. So tragic, so very, very tragic.
