23 years is hard to believe! That beautiful day that you made me a mom seems like yesterday. I remember it all so well. What joy you have brought my heart for so many years! I'm so proud of who you are. I miss your strong, quiet, goofy presence a LOT.  I love our Sunday talks and I love that the tables have turned and now I'm the one getting cooking advice from you. You have had a big year...graduating from college, getting married, moving to a new state, living through a hurricane, finding a two new places to live, starting a new job...
